In Holland group I conduct research projects that combine radiochemistry, medicinal chemistry and molecular imaging for oncologic theranostics, focusing on the development of next generation radioligands containing cleavable peptide linkers for selective toxicity reduction in cancer therapy
- Rational design and synthesis of targeted radioligands with SAR-driven optimization of binding affinity and biodistribution to reduce off-target radioactivity accumulation
- Computational design of enzymatically cleavable peptide linkers through molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations
- Complete preclinical evaluation: kinetic enzymatic assays, stability in human serum, receptor affinity studies and cellular internalization assays in both cancer and healthy cell lines
- Radiosynthesis and quantitative PET/SPECT imaging alongside ex vivo biodistribution studies in murine models
